The goal of this project was to inject some life back into the once run-down apartment building and neighborhood. Our team took considerable inspiration from the nearby area, NoDa, short for North Davidson, the city’s arts and entertainment district. NoDa is known for its eclectic galleries and music venues, artisan gift shops, jewelry stores and tattoo parlors with plenty of local Southern fare, Cajun cuisine, pizza, and hip dive bars.
For this major rehab, we started with classic, yet punchy, color palettes, fresh patterns, and steadfast materials which lend to the modern flair of the overall design. All seven units include one bedroom, one bathroom, a living space, and a kitchen with a small dining area. With a targeted demographic of young professionals and college students, this multifamily project was created to attract those who thrive in an upbeat home environment.
